Customized Training

While it’s true we can classify dogs by their general temperament (personality)—e.g., timid, nervous, dominant, confident—it has become increasingly evident that even two dogs of the same temperament may not respond to the same training method. The reason for this is simple: Every dog is unique, with his/her own history, abilities, experiences and feelings or emotions. (Yes, dogs do have feelings!)

In addition, just as people have different learning styles—for example, some learn best by reading or seeing the information, while others learn by hearing it—I match the training method that best fits both dog and owner.

Our dog training program is not one-size-fits-all. Training is customized to fit your dog’s temperament with your personality. We also take into account all aspects of the dog’s living situation and the relationship your dog has with you, as well as past relationships the dog may have experienced (e.g., if a shelter/rescue dog).
